Robust F1 is an orange flesh melon similar to the varieties Tania or Malak but is earlier more productive and shippable.   The attractive fruit are oval in shape (23 x 19 cm), fully netted with a golden orange rind, and average 3.4 kg in weight.  The delicious thick flesh is very sweet with a soft but firm texture.  The fruit can be shipped long distance if harvested at the proper time, when the rind first begins to change color.  Robust has a very impressive yield of uniform fruit.
