Hollar's This melon is the last of the series and has the highest yield. Days to maturity: 85 Size: 8" X 7.5" ~ 5.5 to 6 pounds. Rind: Sparse, distinctive netting over green, yellow and orange skin Interior: Thick flesh, medium small seed cavity. Flesh characteristics: Very Sweet. Flesh color will be green and white if harvested when the rind is first turning from green to yellow. At this stage flesh is crisp and sweet, the shelf life is the best. If allowed to fully vine ripen, the flesh is pure white and soft. At both stages the sweetness, aroma and flavor are outstanding. Shelf life: Best of the Sensation series.
