Tamara F1 is a high quality Ananas type melon.  Weight per fruit here in Colorado is 7 pounds (3.2 kg.) versus 6.8 pounds (3.1 kg.) for Joyce.  The yield is higher due to more fruit per plant.  Harvest begins four days later than for Joyce, giving Tamara F1 better shelf life. 

Resistance to Fusarium races 0, 1, and 2, and to Powdery mildew races 1 and 2 means it will be widely adapted.
