and 12 inches in diameter. Weight averages around 12 pounds when planted
thickly, heavier if thinned. It is uniform in size and shape and is heavy for
its size. Rind is smooth with shallow ribs, deep orange color. Flesh is thick,
white to pale yellow, rather coarse. Maturing in 100 days, this variety may also
be used for canning and stock feed. |
