Encore F1 (HSR 3055) is a superior Allsweet
hybrid with broader leaves for a distinctive plant appearance and added sunburn
protection. Resistant to strains of Fusarium and Anthracnose the vigorous vines
produce attractive elongate fruit that average 22 lb. (10 kg).
The glossy rind has wide medium green stripes on a light green background. The flesh is a deep red, sweet and fine textured. Small black seed and a well-defined flesh-rind boundary enhance the cut appearance. Maturing in 87 days, HSR 3055 is suitable as a seedless pollinator and has proven itself adapted to a variety of environments. |
