| Simply put, we think Matador F1 is
the best dark green watermelon available. Eighty Seven days to maturity in our
trials, Matador F1 produces an elongated melon weighing 11-13 kilos. Beautiful
internal appearance, medium sized black seeds appear in red, sweet flesh.
External rind is dark green, with no stripes - the melon retains a fresher
appearance in storage as a result. Tolerant/resistant to some races of
Fusarium.
