.Frisco F₁ (HSR 3060) is hybrid butternut with larger size and broader adaptation. Highly productive, Frisco F1 matures in approximately 90 days in Rocky Ford, Colorado.  It has a thicker and longer neck than our popular variety Avalon, approximately 20% larger (6 lbs or 2.6 Kg average). The uniformly shaped fruit have a strong attractive tan rind with shallow sutures.  The flesh is a bright orange, high in dry matter and sweet.
